There Will Be Worship This Sunday At Christ Lutheran Church
As previously indicated, God willing, we will continue with our normal worship and Holy Communion during the emergency as long as God gives health to your pastor - which to date he has. This post from March 12th lets you know about the changes that we have instituted for the remainder of the emergency, so as not to cause potential harm to our neighbor.
I will add here that if you are sick, coughing, sneezing, have a fever or are showing other signs and symptoms of illness that you should stay home, and call the pastor who will come to your home for private communion.
If you have other symptoms that are not indicative of flu such as allergy, coughing from sinus drainage etc. you may come, but be sure to cover appropriately and keep a distance from others.
Never before has our faith been so important to us as it is now. I close now with the words of St. Paul:
"For none of us lives to himself, and none of us dies to himself. For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord's. For to this end Christ died and lived again, that he might be Lord both of the dead and of the living." (Romans 14:7-9)
