Established in 1889, Christ Lutheran Church proclaimed the Gospel in the heart of Cleveland Ohio for 121 years.  In 2010, Christ Lutheran had to leave its wonderful but aging sanctuary.  We are temporarily worshiping in the sanctuary of Unity Lutheran Church as we formulate plans for a new church home.  We are an independent, fully functioning congregation with our own pastor, Sunday Service, SS and Bible Class.

Christ Lutheran Church, in as much as God enables her, practices the historic Lutheran Faith.  Because our fathers in the faith were reformers and not revolutionaries, we retain the Mass with great reverence and celebrate Holy Communion every Lord’s Day, observing the historic practice of Closed Communion.  If you are a current member in good standing of an LC-MS congregation, you may commune at our altar, however, you must speak with Pastor Kavouras via email or telephone (contact info below) no later than the Saturday before attending.  All are welcome to hear and learn God’s Word and to pray, praise, and give thanks.
